Part two: Experience in home repair/improvement

For the most part, realtors have a list of people to call for every situation of the home buying/selling experience.  Knowing people/companies that do the most cost efficient work can be an absolute game changer.  Such an example would be if there was some electrical work that came up in an inspection.  Depending on who you call, repairs could be hundreds or thousands of dollars.  Knowing who to call just saved you a lot of money that you would have spent, or significant time calling different places and having to be home for quotes and estimates.  By calling professionals I’ve known and vetted, I’ve saved my clients around 60% (about $28,000) on repairs versus if they’d have simply gone with their first estimate.
